学前教育

步入幼儿园 is a class designed for children who turn 3 after September 1, 2024.

孩子们 will get a taste of what preschool is like in this class. A licensed teacher will provide opportunities for children to work on social emotional, 语言 and literacy skills through read alouds, conversation and singing with friends and adults other than their caregivers. Playtime on the playground and/or in the gym will be included throughout the day.

Classes will be offered two days per week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. 在谷景小学.

Registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received based on your child's date of birth. 孩子们 必须 be 3 years old and potty trained before attending class.

You will also be eligible for early preschool registration for the 2025-2026 school year when enrolled in this class.

Three-year-olds are bursting with energy and enthusiasm for learning and making friends. It’s a time of physical, emotional and intellectual change. 

At age three, your child may be going to school for the first time. Our preschool program will provide a positive introduction to school. Opportunities to practice social skills and 数学, 语言, 艺术 and 音乐 activities will help build a foundation for school success.

The year before kinderg艺术en is an exciting time, as your child’s abilities and independence grow by leaps and bounds! 学前教育 for Four's classes focuses on providing a foundation for lifelong learning and helping create social relationships. 孩子们 have both large and small group learning experiences in literacy, 写作, 数学, 音乐, 艺术, 和科学.

我们提供四人班的2人班.5 hours per day five days per week (Mon.星期五.)在庞德和索斯伍德中心, 谷景小学, 沃什伯恩小学, and Oak Grove Elementary for students who live in the attendance areas of those schools.

幼儿园狩猎 is a mixed-age (three and four-year-old) five half days per week preschool program with before and aftercare, 可在池塘中心购买, Normandale Hills and Westwood elementary schools. 

Busing is available for children who receive 幼儿特殊教育 services.

Separate registration is required to enroll in the childcare p艺术 of the program.
